NIST’s data was growing rapidly and overwhelming its existing infrastructure. Multiple legacy systems made data access and analysis difficult, and posed critical challenges to efficient management and integration of large amounts of data. It was impacting NIST’s core mission of providing relevant technical standards, guidelines, and metrics.
